Soon the pre-release builds of Windows 10 19H2 will become available to insiders on the Skip Ahead update channel. Those wishing to get the latest builds should check their settings in the Windows Insider program.
Windows Insider members who want to get the latest builds of Windows 10 19H2 are recommended to check the settings of the Windows 10 Pre-Evaluation Program.
Microsoft opened Skip Ahead registration
Microsoft has temporarily opened the Skip Ahead branch for insiders who are ready to begin testing the Pre-release assemblies for the next feature update. As before, the number of participants in Skip Ahead will be limited.
Go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Pre-Assessment Program and select the type of pre-builds – Skip Ahead.
Windows 10 (19H2) Prepares for Skip Ahead
Insiders who now select the Skip Ahead option will still continue to receive builds for Windows 10 19H1 for some time, but Microsoft has already begun work on Windows 10 19H2. This means that users who have joined the Skip Ahead option will soon go directly to the Pre-release builds of the next major Windows 10 update.
Although at first we will not see major changes and new features in the upcoming assemblies, still test builds may have bugs and other problems. If you are not ready to experience problems when using Pre-release assemblies, it is recommended to leave the parameters of the participant of the preliminary assessment program on the “Early Access” or “Late Access” channels.
